How to Quickly Set Up an Automated Campaign in Leadsourcing

Step by Step guide to automate or customize LinkedIn and email outreach, add opportunities, and review before launch.

Overview

Set up either a smart (automated, trigger-based) campaign in Leadsourcing. Easily import opportunities, personalize all messaging, select the correct sender accounts, and review before launching outreach.


Requirements

  • You have a Leadsourcing account.

  • Messaging copy is drafted for each channel.

  • Website visitor identification is enabled OR Your opportunities list is ready (CSV, website visitors, or CRM)., depending on your source of leads.


Step 1: Start Your Campaign

  1. Open the Leadsourcing campaign tool.

  2. Select Start from campaign.

Step 2: Choose Campaign Type

  1. In the Campaign Type dropdown, choose:

Multi-channel campaigns reach opportunities via both email and LinkedIn for higher engagement.


Step 3: Add Opportunities

  1. Go to Step 2: Opportunity List.

  2. Click + Import opportunities.

    • Choose Import website visitors to add detected visitors (if enabled).

    • Or, select another method (CSV/Excel, LinkedIn, email manual entry, CRM).

  3. Previously sent opportunities automatically appear—no need to re-import.

  4. Add or remove opportunities as needed for accuracy.

Step 4: Set Triggers & Advanced Settings

  1. Under Add Opportunities to the Campaign, choose a trigger for the type of website visitor you want to target:

    • Profile found (default – profile detected)

    • Email found (upgrade required)

    • Shortlisted (upgrade required)

  2. Click info icons for quick tooltips and trigger explanations.

  3. Expand Advanced Settings for filtering, custom rules, or timing adjustments.

Step 5: Add Messaging and Personalization

  1. For each messaging step:

    • Click the content area to edit.

    • Enter your subject and body.

    • Personalize using Insert variable (like first name/company).

    • Click Preview for formatting check.

  2. Write platform-specific, relevant messages for best results.

Step 6: Select Sending Accounts

  1. For LinkedIn: Use Choose LinkedIn Account for the correct profile.

  2. For emails: Use Choose Sender Email to select your Gmail or Outlook account.

  3. Ensure all accounts are integrated and active under Connections/Integrations.

Step 7: Review and Organize Campaign (Both Types)

  1. Click Next Step to proceed to Review & Launch.

  2. On the Review Opportunities to Run page:

    • Check your imported list.

    • Review each opportunity for accuracy (use checkboxes for all, or review one by one).

    • Add/edit opportunities with Add new opportunities to this campaign as needed.

    • You’ll see All opportunities are reviewed when complete.

  3. Confirm review using the Review leads button.

Verification, Results, or Next Step

  • All your reviewed opportunities display in the Review & Launch dashboard.

  • You’ll get confirmation when setup is successful.

  • Only after all messaging and opportunity reviews are done will you be able to launch.

  • Personalize messages and check variables to boost engagement.

  • Use website visitor import or CSV upload for fast, accurate opportunity lists.

  • If sender accounts are missing, check Integrations and reconnect if needed.

  • Double-check all steps and filters for errors before moving to launch.
